Gotta be honest, was a little skeptical about this plugin at first.

People, it worked instantly, dragged and dropped the file into the plugin folder, and restarted playon in an already functional and stable environment... Gotta be honest, made the girlfriend pretty happy to get her Bobby Flay back.

Thanks for an excellent addition, looking forward to more possibilities in the future from you guys.

Won't work for me say plug in is not compatible with my version of playon which is the newest at the time of this post 2.59.3359.3420

This plugin is brand new how can it not be up to date or am I missing something?

The latest version of PlayOn is : 2.59.3370.

home page and hit download to get the lastest version if the updater is not working. I noticed sometimes when the newest version comes out it may be days before you can use the updater to update to the lastest version. Or I have trouble updating through the playon interface settings and going to the website always work.

Yeah.. great job dobs.. keep us up to date on any new plugins. This product is great and any new plugins we get are only going to make it better.. Note: My updater never works either.. but it's no biggy.. I just download the update manually..

Does this plugin still work?  I have the latest version 3380 and dragged the file into the plugin folder.  The plugin is showing up in the playon software but on my PS3 I don't see how to access the foodnetwork content?  Any ideas?

I know playon was planning on making some changes to their API, they may have done so with their latest release, I'll update one of my comps and let ya know. If that is the case give everyone a few days to adjust to their newest code, will most likely have to update all the plugins.

Edit/Update : Nope, still works across my ps3, what type of connection are you using? does hulu still work for you? ps3 released an update the other day, are you running the latest updates?

Just updated the ps3 to latest, I think 2.7 and July is workng just fine. I'm not seeing how to even get the content on the ps3 menu.  I see hili netflix CBS espn etc. But nothing for food network. The plugin is checked enabled. I feel like I'm missing something obvious

Chances are Kaodoo, you have to restart your PlayOn service.  It's in the first tab under "General Settings".  Just go to the "PlayOn Media Server" box, click the Stop button, wait for it to stop, then hit the start.  You have to do this whenever adding a new plugin, or disabling / enabling one for the media server to realize there is a change.

After enabling the plugin you need to restart the PlayOn service.  If it's still not working, delete your server.log file, restart the service, and post the new server.log file.

There was a new update to PlayOn this weekend, version 2.59.3380.1.  But the util.dll didn't change.  The next update will break the plugins.  But if you have version 2.59.3370 or 2.59.3380, these plugins should work.

I had all the latest versions.  I had rebooted my ps3 and pc (with playon) a number of times with no luck.  Randomly tonite it started working.  WIsh I knew why.  Seems to work great though so thanks so much for putting the effort into putting this out there for us.
