I've created a proof of concept Southpark plugin that pulls streams from southparkstudios.com.  It plays the 1280x720 stream on my PS3 perfectly.

Can I send it your way dobs?  I'm new to plugin creation so it would take a long time for me to complete it, but I think you can use the concept to get your plugin working fairly quickly.  Let me know the best way to contact you.

The svn has some code that should parse the episodes.  You can add your code to it, or send me what you have and I can integrate it into it.

Since we can't actually get the core playon functionality to work, seeit360 and I are creating a workaround that will use rtmpdump to download the files first, then pass them to playon.  This is based on Caleb187's proof of concept.

Alrighty then, some news here. Dobs and I looked at Calebs code, seems do-able, so just have some patience.

We'll more than likely try it out first with SpikeTV. There is a bit more going on here than has been tried with plugins before, so Dobs and I are trying to make a reusable process, one that can be included in all future plugins that have RTMP streams.

Good Job Caleb.

I'm sure you guys will get this working eventually if you just keep at it.

South Park is the best show on TV IMHO, so this plug-in will be worth its weight in gold.
