to be viewed on playon.  This website has the best collection of anime that i have found which i think would be perfect for this program.

I support this idea! If this were to happen I could finally stop watching em on the PC and start watching em on my tv...oh how lovely that would be.

this site you want links to other sites. A plugin would be extremely hard to make because of the multiple websites and different ways that each one deliver their video files. Not to mention being able to code the plugin to differentiate which site the feed is coming from to begin with.

are the largest that I found that host all the content they allow you to play. Either one of these 2 would be a better choice to ask for as it may go somewhere.

Funimation would be great as it's both quite large and every bit as legitimate as Hulu, but it might take a bit of effort; I can't find any rss feeds for the site.  They even have episodes of One Piece up very shortly after they air in Japan... unfortunately, about a month ago, someone guessed the filename of the episode and downloaded it before it was listed on Funimation's website.  The Japanese studio they license from found out, and caused them to shut down their streaming service while they reworked how they name video files (I think it's a long random-looking string now).  Everyone who accessed the episode early had their IPs banned from the site(no idea for how long though).  Just something to keep in mind for whoever wants to write the plugin. Wink

I started on a plugin a while ago before the One Piece mess, but didn't get very far; I might give it another shot when I get back from vacation, but it's probably best if someone who knows what they are doing takes a crack at it.

would be a fantastic addition to PlayOn. Please may the plugin gods look upon and answer our prayers. Btw Crunchyroll is legit too. Hulu, if I'm not mistaken gets the same Naruto Shippuudenn episode as soon as its available (for free) on Crunchyroll. Maybe there is a connection there.

I wasn't sure whether to post here or create a new post but I think crunchyroll.com is becoming a most have plugin for anime. They just announced like 5 new animes for the fall that they are going to simulcast (including Inuyasha). I'm still crossing my fingers for a plugin since I'd love to watch Crunchyroll on my PS3 but unfortunately the PS3 web browser doesn't work too well with crunchyroll.

This script doesn't work any more as far as I have tried it. I tried close to 10 different series and none of them work. I can get other scripts to load just fine. so I don't think it's a problem on my end.

any more word on getting these to work?
